Oktober Chip Fest Promotion on the Cake Poker Network
The new promotion on the Cake Poker Network this October is called the Oktober Chip Fest.
Fans of the Oktober Beerfest should not be confused this is not a festival for potato based snacks OR cakes it is for poker players only!
Anyone who has a Cake Poker Account, DoylesRoom Poker Account or Power Poker Account can take part in this promotion.
And of course if you have a rakeback account then you will get double benefits!
The promotion is divided into two sections; the first section will run from 8pm ET on September 30th until October 14th at 8pm ET. The second part will start running as soon as the first part is over, up until 8 pm ET on October 31st.
Players have been assigned a personal Frequent Player Point target based on the amount of play they average on their account. When playing poker they will earn FPPs which will go out at two different rates, for ring games $1 rake = 1 FPP, for tournaments $1 rake = 7 FPPs. Players have to accumulate FPPs until they reach their target, those that reach their goal will receive better rewards during the second half of the promotion. The maximum level of rewards is reached once a player has doubled the target that Cake Poker assigned to their account.
All players that hit the target amount of FPPs will be able to enter the $10k Oktober Chipfest freeroll. Players that exceed their target will receive the following rewards: over 25% will receive 50% more Gold Chips, over 50% will receive double Gold Chips, over 75% will receive triple Gold Chips and players who double their target will quadruple the Gold Chips they earn during the second half of the promotion.
